| The one that started it all! First published in 1999, the first issue of the Strand is finally available (quantities are limited). Collectors have been paying as much as $200 a copy, in honor of our 30th issue, the publishers of the Strand are releasing a limited number of magazines.
The First issue featured fiction by Henry Slesar, James Sallis, Jonathan Harrington, Dennis Smith, and Ben Pastor. The Strand also published articles about Wilkie Collins, a study of Holmes and Lord Wimsey, and our series on Great Detectives profiled Futrelle's Thinking Machine. |
