Jack Gibbons is an ambitious young detective sergeant at Scotland Yard, and his best friend is Jack's own personal Peter Wimsey, the charismatic and wealthy man-about-town Philip Bethancourt, who likes to tag along on Gibbons' more interesting investigations.
